I know I am in the minority on this and I think its a bit much of a response for sure. Maria Taylor responding to it should help show the impact it has on others. Herb is a right leaning guy regardless of what you think of this 2 min monologue. His point and Franklin quote are relevant regardless of what this board thinks about the subject.

That was so far over the top it should be insulting to the people's ass he was trying to kiss.
No one is going to discount Herbstreit. He is very well respected in the game but that was a little to much. However for all the people on here that type "Here" for every good Ag that passes. The lack of empathy for social injustice is very contradictory.
1. those two things do not contradict each other.
2. I can have empathy for people who are victims of racism and also not believe that systemic racism is rampant in society.
3. I can call out a person for virtue signalling, that doesn't mean I don't have empathy.
I have not yet seen it. But let the guy weep. You guys weep over fumbles, Fran 4th & 1s, dead dogs, and dog poop on lawns.

Is it empathy when it’s something that doesn’t really exist? At least not on the scale alleged.

The reason is that despite any real evidence that it's pervasive we get 24 hour coverage of only one kind of police shooting that is extremely rare and often presented as commonplace and removing any responsibility from the 10 or so people it happens to every year.

WTF is the social justice they’re looking for? It’s like crying for world peace or for people living in real poverty in Africa. There’s nothing tangible on the table, just a bunch of pleas and demands for awareness. They tried a defund the police campaign and that went over like a lead balloon. I am white and bet almost all of them deserved getting shot for resisting arrest and fighting with police. We don't hear some huge outrage. Why is this.
