I'd like to reveal some inside tidbit here but last night was really sort of boring, even KS kept asking us to wake up during his monologue. He did say Kyler was still in NYC for the ESPY's, he said he asked Kyler why he was staying a week when as a coach he never saw a reason to stay more than 24 hours. "That's because you never won anything" was Kyler's reply. He said the two biggest surprises during spring practice were Justin Evans and Daeshon Hall. He talked a lot about having two good QB's, never said a word about Jake. Someone paid $6500 for a football signed by JDC and JFF. They were auctioning game seats in section 550, I have no idea where that section is and neither did anyone at my table, 3 of whom had season tickets. I got in an online auction for Alabama tickets anyway, 2 tix in that mythical section and as it was counting down I was leading with 30 seconds to go and a bid of $640 when my screen went blank and instead of saying I was the high bidder it said bidding was over. I checked my online cart and there was no charge so somehow I got outbid with time left. Oh well. If I remember any more boring stories to tell I'll be sure and post them.
