Who replaces Bisontis at LG?
Chase Bisontis is out this weekend and my hopes that it may be a short-term injury have evaporated as the week has gone on. I think we'd better get used to Kam Dewberry and TJ Shanahan for a while. The question is, who gets the start?
Who gets it may give you an idea of what A&M is putting a priority on tomorrow night.
Dewberry has been on the field for 38 passing attempts so far this season and has given up nothing. Not a sack, not a hit, not a hurry, nothing. Shanahan, on the other hand, has given up a sack, three hits and four pressures. Shanahan is considered the better run blocker of the two and the more he plays, the better he's been (see Florida).
If A&M wants to get after LSU in the running game first and foremost, Shanahan will likely start. If they're going to go pass-heavy early on, Dewberry probably will.
I personally think that Shanahan will start and the reps will be about even.

Will A&M go right at LSU?
The Tigers have faced two good running teams all season: South Carolina and Ole Miss. South Carolina ran for 243 yards at 6 yards a carry; Ole Miss ran for 180 at 4.3 yards per clip. Those teams didn't do anything cute; they ran the vast majority of their plays between the tackles, and most of those right up the gut. That means the key battles may not get the most attention, but Shanahan/Dewberry, Koli Faaiu and Ar'maj Reed-Adams are going to have to win their matchups for this to work -- because you know that is exactly what the Aggies are going to want to do too.

No love lost between A&M OL, LSU's DL

PFF put out a tweet yesterday showing that Trey Zuhn has not given up a sack and only 7 hurries so far this year (one reason I think he'll be in the draft after this year) in 213 pass attempts. LSU DE Bradyn Swinson mocked the post, which brought in Ar'Maj Reed-Adams. "Twitter fingers over there gonna get his hands broke."

Add in the shots taken at the 12th Man this week and this could be a pretty high-intensity football game, even without all that's on the line.

If you had any questions about Terry Bussey
He should be good to go tomorrow. He isn't even on the injury report. He tweaked his injury a little bit in warmups last week so they just sat him to make sure he was ready for this one.
The question now becomes whether Moose Muhammad will get any snaps at all. He had 1 last week, with Jake Bostick getting 6. So he's fallen even further down the depth chart (which he could fix with a good week of practice), and with Bussey back, he'd really need to bust it to get back out there this week.

Some big 2025 recruits in town this weekend
If you had read Landyn's list, you'd already know this, but it's a big weekend for recruiting as well. There's going to be a horde of 2026 and '27 kids in town, but I'm going to focus on the remaining 2025 targets.
The first is Mesquite Horn OL Lamont Rogers. He's been on flip watch for three weeks now, but he is still with Missouri and was up there last weekend. This could be a big one for the Aggies, and even though there's been plenty of confidence in him flipping, it ain't happened yet.
5-star DE Javion Hilson, who de-committed from FSU last month, will also be in attendance. This is the first time he's been to A&M and he's got several other teams that are ahead, so this visit is huge from his perspective. Getting a good game from Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton would definitely help with him.

Aggies look to close with Arrington
There's been a lot of grumbling about where A&M stands with 2025 receivers, but they're off to a really good start with several of the big names in 2026. 4-star Brandon Arrington, who could get a look on both sides of the ball a la Terry Bussey, is one of them. Arrington will return to A&M this weekend and has indicated that Aggies have a huge lead for him right now. It would not exactly suck if they put on a good performance and were able to get him to pull the trigger on a commitment.

On the LSU side

WR Chris Hilton, who caught 13 passes for 225 yards and 2 TD last season, has not played all year due to a bone bruise on his leg. He has practiced this week and is listed as questionable, but it seems like he's going to be able to go this Saturday -- at least in a limited capacity.
On the other hand, WR CJ Daniels (27 catches, 325 yards) was downgraded from probable to questionable last night on the injury report. He is dealing with a knee issue and he won't be 100% even if he can go. Daniels is fourth on the team in receptions and one of their top three wideouts.
