I don't think we saw more than 1 or 2 designed QB runs Saturday and they were both QB draw, IIRC. However, we ran the same inside zone with the RB over and over again. We had some success but with the way the Irish D was crashing on the RB it was begging for Weigman to pull it and run. Do we have any clue whether or not these were bad reads by Weigman or they weren't an option based on the play call. Meaning, was it 100% a handoff to the RB or was it a read-option for the QB?
