The following was in the Athletic article by Sam Khan and Bruce Feldman posted on another thread but I didn't see any comments or concerns over the lack of development from year to year with the defensive line. I don't know what the truth is but this seems troubling.
“We played them last year, and we were like, ‘Holy s—.’ There was first-round talent across the defensive line, the entire two-deep,” the SEC staffer said. “And then you play them this year and it’s like, ‘They’re still really good, but it felt like we played the exact same team last year.’ Are these guys really developing?”
