Commission advice

My wife is helping her friend recruit people to her company. This friends company provides a service that requires a certification. People interested in the certification pay a fee to attend the class. If they get certified and pass the test, my wife gets paid a commission. Once they have been employed for 90 days, she gets another commission.

My wife has far exceeded their expectations to the point they are offering more certification classes. Now, they want to offer my wife the full time gig. They asked her about salary, benefits and commission. The friend asks my wife about a good salary plus minimal commission. I'm saying BS. She has already exceeded their expectations and they had to pay her $10k in her first month.

My question is what percentage should a recruiter/talent acquisition make given this information?
