We have to be in Vail towards the end of July. I can work remotely and have a bunch of CC points banked (because we have not travelled over the past year), so we are thinking about extending the trip for some portion of July
I am not overly familiar with CO, and would appreciate suggestions on towns to stay (does not have to be Vail and interested more so in outdoors than cultural stuff, restaurants and similar items). I do not know the differences between Vail, Breckenridge, Telluride, Durango and other areas.
Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. I know others have mentioned Lake City, but do not think I can use points there.
