1) Jordan Peele fired his managers for losing the bidding war for this film.
2) The movie ended up selling to New Line Cinema for 38 million.
3) It was originally supposed to come out January 2026, but test screenings were so overwhelmingly positive that they moved the release date up to August of 2025.
Having revealed all that I still FULLY expect to be disappointed and pissed off about another shitty horror film that had “potential”…
