lots of changes happening around our place right now.
Just bought 27 acres of awesomeness East of McKinney.
Gonna sell some stuff and buy some stuff or even do some trades. Thought I would roll a few things out here first and see if my fellow AY members have something I need or want something I am willing to give up.
I figured out that I can’t see messages through AY on my phone. I found some messages sent over the last couple of years last week when I logged on via computer for the first time in forever. If you want to chat please text me at 4792631050.
Here are a few things. I am open to just about anything fair. For the things I need to buy, I can pay cash or trade Gold, Silver, Guns, Ammo or my Kids.... really I’ll trade anything but the wife or the dogs.

Have for Sale: I have a really nice restored 1960 Ford F-100. New crate motor with 10k or so miles on it. Haven’t listed it yet but I will put it out for $37k. Runs great. As is typical for classics I have about $40k+ in it. —-back story- My 16 year old daughter worked on me for two years that this is the vehicle she wanted. Bought it, spent 6 months getting it just right then she had it for 4 months and is asking for something newer..... she doesn’t know it but will now be getting a half junker with 200k miles.
Maybe: I have a fully restored 1981 Jeep Scrambler (Maroon & White) that is awesome. I love it but I find myself driving it 10-15 days a year. If I find the right deal I am open to trades or a sale if the offer is too good to pass up.
Guns: Just did inventory and I have WAY too many guns. If you want something odds are I have it or something comparable. I have been buying for several years. Love to shoot. We have enough ammo to outfit a good sized police force.
Looking for: a newer (2016 or newer) 4 door Jeep Wrangler or a Ford Explorer or similar.
Looking for an RV: I am going to move out to the property and live in 2 trailers (the wife and I and my 16 year old and 18 year old). We have one nice trailer and am looking for a nice 5th wheel with 3-4 pop outs. I want something that is nice enough to live in for 6 months plus.
ATV: looking for a Gator, Off road golf cart or 4 wheeler. Any or all the above. Just something to run around the property for various reasons.
Horse Trailer: have some horses need to move them. Self explanatory. Don’t need a palace. Just a decent hauler to move around.
Short term stuff for life till the house is built:
Staying out there in trailers I need
1. RV cover big enough to put two trailers under.
2. Electrician to set up trailer hook ups as well as some circuits for freezers in a metal building already on site.
3. Plumber to put in dumps for the RV’s going to the septic already on site.
4. Fire Pit - I am wanting a legit awesome fire pit so I can sit and enjoy my whiskey in the evening.
We are going to build our forever home on the back hill of the 2 nice hills on the property. I’m a concrete guy so I am planning to build a concrete house and let my wife stick whatever she wants too on the outside (wood, stone, siding, whatever). I am planning to use radiant heat tubing slaved to a few instant hot water heaters with an ancillary pumps. This gives me the ability to run cool or hot water through the system taking advantage of the “Thermal Mass” effect to help hear or cool the house.
I will need all the other trades so if you know of some good contractors that work in the North Dallas area please send me referrals. I’ll send a great bottle of whiskey or bourbon to each referral source I end up using.
I am going to sell some of this property to my gun business and build a gun range/store/gunsmith location. I have already partnered with my smith and a guy who just sold his range and store in Colorado. I have a ton of ideas here but the short story is 1000 yard range, short rifle, shotgun, pistol & tactical areas outdoors. Maybe 10 stalls indoors for pistol or light caliber rifle. Building will be about 10,000 sf of store, shop and ranges. I have been traveling around looking at concepts around the country for a couple of years
If you think of anything else I am missing I am really open to whatever. If I get to build a relationship and fill a need then I am game.
