The longer this goes, it appears that Elko is hoping we forget about his post game comment and is sticking with Bateman and thinks the defense can be fixed with the staff on hand. I do, of course, hope that an announcement of a change is made this week, but if not, then I do hope that Elko is right and he can fix this defense. It does not serve this program well if he is wrong. Making the same mistakes made by Jimbo by keeping underperforming buddies on staff is not a recipe for job security. As @CheekySchneider said last week, whatever decision he makes, it better be the correct one.
