My dad and I went to the scrimmage earlier this afternoon.
Let's just say, if our pitching is anywhere near decent... this team will be great. This teams' bats are the best I've ever seen and I've been going to A&M baseball games for a long time. There's actually more than 11 great bats. Early will have a tough time balancing the lineup through the season, but what a great problem to have.
Side note, Kiel and Marco Jones are the best football/baseball two-way players I've seen in a while. We obviously didn't get to see bitch Murray play, and he would've been good, but Jones had really good bat. Though he struggled in LF with the wind. Kiel had some unreal power with obvious top end speed. Terrific ball player.
