Anyone on here have some experience with either of these?

I'm working on a promo video for my band and I need some help. I've been building the videos in After Effects with the idea that I would transition from there into Premiere to finish everything out. The idea is to "Introduce the band" members with each of us having a 30-45 second picture montage & bio. I have those pretty much done for each of us, minus the bio text. I have some intro graphics to start and I know what I want for the exit graphics.

Here's where I'm running into a dilemma. We have 4 clips of cover songs that we've done (each roughly 30-45 seconds). I've already gotten those in Premiere and it flows the way I want. How hard is it to do the same thing in After Effects? Or, how difficult is it to link AE into Premiere? I would like to use the Adobe Link function so that I can edit the video in AE and render in Premiere.

It's my first time to really use either, so I've probably screwed a lot of stuff along the way making this way more difficult than it should be. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. I'm not changing editing software at this time since I've spent so much time getting where I am. Also, I have the entire Adobe suite at a student rate, so it's super cheap (gotta love having kids in school).
