I just watched the press conference now, and the thing that jumped out at me most was General Welsh. He is extremely impressive, and he is clearly involved in athletics. He appears to be a great leader, not good but great, and I think he'll lead A&M to higher highs both academically and athletically. Trev Alberts is also impressive, and I get the feeling that we finally, finally, finally will achieve our potential in athletics.
For those posters hoping for a successful year in all three major sports - football, basketball, baseball - this will not be a one year wonder. We will have many future years with that 3 fold success in a single year. Finally. Finally. I think the leadership pieces are in place.
