They also picked up righthanded reliever Clayton Freshcorn of McClennan County Community College, who had been committed to Sam. He throws 94-95 and and was 4-3 with a 2.36 ERA in 61 innings and 16 appearances (10 starts). He also had 3 saves. He struck out 79 in those 61 innings.
