Sean Simon is a freshman at LaPorte this year and I think this kid is going to be a Top 100 type guy. Last true freshman with his ability at La Porte was the infamous Hoza Scott. More talent than current Buffalo Bill Terrel Bernard or A&M’s own Albert Regis.
Playing behind 2 senior RB’s who had over 1,000 yards each last year, he has forced his way into the field to the tune of 600 yards so far and over 10 ypc and 10 tds. Listed as 5’10 185, but by the eyeball he’s probably getting close to 200.
Very fast, powerful runner who has broken more tackles this year than I can count. Not a lot of shimmy or shake in his game, he’s a hit-the-hole and go runner. Watching him reminds me of a Todd Gurley/ Adrian Peterson style, he can beat you to the corner or run you over.
It’s a long way from 2028, but he’s definitely one to watch.
