Setting the scene:

The 2011 team started the season ranked #8 but finished 7-6.
The team featured a Senior core of Ryan Tannehill, Jeff Fuller, and Cyrus Gray. We also had the anchors of the best OL in A&M history in Joeckel, Matthews, Ced O, and Jarvis Harrison.
To put the talent on the roster in perspective: The 2010 team went 9-4 beating OU and losing to LSU in the Cotton Bowl. The 2012 team featured Johnny and Mike and went 11-2 obliterating OU in the Cotton Bowl.
The 2011 team blew 4 halftime leads including double digits 3 times (OK St. 20-3, Ark 35-17, Mizz 28-17). They also led Texas 16-7 at half before losing.

That team had tons of talent and expectations. Their big leads at half are a good indicator of what they were capable of and the 2nd half collapses show the terrible coaching that we also had.

This year's team features a roster littered with 4* & 5* talent on both sides of the ball and throughout the depth chart. They have lost to App State and were killed by a meh Miss St team today and had some ugly wins against Miami and Arkansas. I know the season isn't over, but our expectations for this year are.

Help settle an argument. Do you pronounce Cincinnati Bengals and a bengal tiger the same? And is it bang-guhl or bing-guhl (like bing crosby).

Hill de-commits, Bobby Taylor has taken down anything A&M related on his social media accounts and his stepdad keeps tweeting to Deon that they are coming…..

Wilks is the interim coach of the Carolina Panthers, not the real coach, the interim coach. After they gave up 35 1st half points on Sunday he fired both the cornerbacks coach and the defensive line coach. The DL coach was hired in the off-season. Why is Jimbo waiting?

Good evening from Reed Arena, and the season opener for the Aggies. Looks like Andre Gordon for this one, as he's got his left foot in a boot. Javonte Brown is also out.

For that money we could have built another amenity.

If he is willing to listen to us to come to A&M to coach then we buy out Jimbo. The money is there, but the important question was who would replace him. Well Deion Sanders is proving that he can coach. He is a splash hire. The recruits would, at the very least, listen to him. With A&M's resources, Deion would make A&M relevant.

We all laughed about the hire. They are 1 in the SEC west.

Amazing what a good coach can do.

We're all emotional with the state of Texas A&M football right now.

If y'all want to b*tch about how much Jimbo and his staff suck, have a field day.

But let's make sure that we aren't misdirecting these emotions towards Passwaters or each other.

It might suck to be an Aggie football fan right now...

But it certainly doesn't suck to be an Aggie.

I exit Kyle down the isle where the recruits sit. There were 2 very large guys sitting there. I was told that they were highly rated DL. They looked as board as board can look. The end of the game could not have come soon enough for them. An Ag walking out behind me was livid as I was after seeing their disinterest. Any idea who they were so I can scratch them off my wish list?

I was up in the Legacy section at the game. Heard a lot of money Aggies saying a lot of things. The thing that caught my ear was that the money is ready to buy out Jimbo. It is supposed to happen at the end of the season. Now, no names were said, but these sounded pretty sure of things. Again, this may all just be rumor.
