Mike Evans

Jeez we have.talked about this before Mike Evans has all his consecutive years 1000 yard seasons. He is about to have more yards receiving than HOF Michael Irvin He has a Super Bowl Ring. Greatest Aggie ever? If he gets 1000 yards next year he ties Jerry Rice who somebody here on AY pointed out Jerry Rice had Joe Montana and Steve Young The question Greatest Aggie ever?

Elko's 1st Year at Duke.....

In his first season as head coach at Duke University, Mike Elko led the Blue Devils to a 9-4 record:
  • Regular season: Duke finished the regular season with a 9-4 record.
  • Bowl game: The Blue Devils won the Military Bowl against UCF, the program's first bowl game appearance since 2018.
  • ACC Coach of the Year: Elko was named the 2022 ACC Coach of the Year.

Elko's first season at Duke was marked by a number of improvements, including:

  • Defense
Duke gave up 120.9 yards per game and 10 touchdowns on the ground, the only school in the ACC to allow 10 or fewer rushing touchdowns.

  • Offensive line
Duke's offensive line ranked 12th among Power 5 schools for sacks allowed per game.

  • Turnaround
Duke's 2022 record was a plus-six improvement from 2021, the second-best turnaround in ACC history.

  • Rankings
Duke's scoring offense and defense moved from 102nd and 127th nationally to 31st in both categories.

Elko left Duke to become the head coach at Texas A&M in November 2023.

How well do you think he'll do this year @ A&M?

Gameday Traffic

Haven’t been to Kyle in a while. My daughter (A&M ‘21) invited me to the game this Saturday. We will drive from Downtown Houston. A few years ago I used to take I10 to Brookshire, because 290 was very slow. What’s the current best option? Aggie Expressway? 290? Or I10?

Thanks in advance…

Are dems not confident of their own policies and regime tactics?

If they are so confident of their policies and regime tactics, why not go on a slightly left-leaning-but-not-looney-tunes-leftist leaning channel like Fox for a debate and try and get those moderates to come on over to socialism? Seems like they like talking g to the same 45% of the people.

Instead they need moderators to jump into the fray with their own "versions of truth"

Seems like a limited strategy when all polling shows the race as a toss up

Arky fake punt

I rewatched the game and couldn’t help asking myself WTF was going thru the coaches head on this particular punt.

4&15 near midfield and we have a return set up? Did the coaches really think a return was the best call when the punter is likely to be placing the ball inside the 15 yard line? It’s unacceptable, and I hope Elko gave his ST coach an ear full, and explained to him if it happens again he will be fired. We pay the coaches too much money for them to be making blunders like this.
