Just as a discussion point, since I realize it would never happen. Completely theoretical.
What if in-lieu of Title 9. Collegiate sports competed as a dual-gender leagues. Meaning, for example, every team in the SEC that competes in basketball, has both a women's team and a men's team that compete mutually for the same championship. Women still compete against women and men against men (Trans against men)? But the results of both go to the same standings and working toward the same standings.
My first thought is that it would certainly heighten my interest level in all of the women's sports.
Its just a crazy thought that popped in my head this morning and I thought huh that would be interesting and I thought it would be fun to discuss.
Pros? cons? Thoughts?
