I am a consummate college football fan and left the NFL when the strikes started 30 years ago. However, I am about done with the portal and NIL. If his is going to be like minor league NFL baseball then these players need to be paid like a thousand a month and ride a bus to their games like minor league baseball players. I don’t mean to imply that I am a BMA, but I do donate a hefty amount to the 12th Man and have a couple of academic endowments. If the players want to be treated like minor league football players the they should be paid like minor league players at a thousand bucks a month and ride a bus to games. I am considering going back to the NFL as there doesn’t seem like much difference except the NFL players are much better!
