...it's not just Sumlin. It's the Aggies that "never lose halftime." It's the Aggies that are overly concerned with our oppositions gameday experience. It's the Aggies that think "we didn't lose, we just ran out of time." The culture at A&M has been hijacked by some goofy mashup of overalls and excessive howdy's. It's sold internally as being "from the outside, you can't understand it..." but it's evolved into a mentality of losing that's ok as long as your nice. But that's not what A&M has always stood for. Aggies were hard. They were salt of the earth but that didn't mean they didn't fight. They punched you in the mouth if you deserved it and hell, they punched you in the mouth if they flat out didn't like you. Aggies had grit and a belly full of cheap whiskey. Piss and vinegar.

Not anymore. Now it's fish camp year around. It's all about who can out Aggie each other. It's uncomfortable. It's weak. It's perpetual 8-4 and better luck next year.
