Sure, the players and organizations are still mercenary but they’re bound by contracts, collective bargaining agreements, actual disciplinary mechanisms, a salary cap, and a number of other things which make the NFL more stable and predictable than major college football.

Get used to it y’all. At least until things swing back when the big money boosters get sick of handing out big NIL deals for kids who don’t produce, act like shitheads off the field with no fear of repercussions, and try to transfer immediately when their over-inflated self-worth flares up.
