A&M has been recruiting Lake Travis DT Gus Cordova, but I expect that pursuit to be terminated, if it has not been already.
One of Cordova's teammates disclosed a few weeks ago that he was severely allergic to peanuts. Sometime later, several players, including Cordova, decided to "pull a prank" and exposed him to peanuts. Multiple times. Including putting the peanuts in his uniform before a game.
The school district did nothing (big football player and all), but the story has started to really get legs. And Texas has cut off their recruitment of him and Landyn believes A&M has done the same. If they haven't yet, I can't believe this would be a guy Mike Elko wants as he tries to get a new attitude going with this team.
