Just speaking about what ifs. I know some are scared to schedule anyone at all, some want the marquee match-ups... The SEC is encouraging the schools to schedule better.
Currently some SEC schools have permanent OOC rivals.
Florida - Florida State
South Carolina - Clemson
Georgia - Georgia Tech
Kentucky - Louisville
Most of the rest of the SEC this season seems to schedule legit competition, this coming season we will see the SEC in these match-ups
Missouri - UConn, BYU
South Carolina - North Carolina (despite already playing Clemson every year)
Tennessee - Oklahoma
Alabama - Wisconsin
Arkansas - Texas Tech
LSU - Syracuse
Ole Miss - Fresno St (meh, not sure whether to count this or not)
Texas A&M - Arizona St.
Only Auburn, Miss St., & Vanderbilt don't play anyone of note out of conference.
Do you think it would be better if every SEC school were to have a permanent OOC opponent? Or continue to schedule random Power 5 schools like they have been in the past?
