I haven't seen his named removed from consideration. I am hoping our decision makers are placing an emphasis on how some of these guys with minimal experience have coached in their "big games"
Kansas has played as a ranked team six times under Leipold. They have lost 5 of those games the week they became ranked and the sixth one was two weeks later, this year when they lost to Tech at home as favorites with the Big 12 championship still being in play. In his 10 win season in Buffalo he lost by 29 to Army at home as an 8 point favorite and by 35 to Ohio (not State.)
He's crapped the bed in almost every game with pressure.
Is there a recruit that is going to be impressed with tales of turning around Buffalo (not the Bills) and Kansas, even when the turnaround means you made it to the Liberty Bowl? Maybe talk to them about coaching at Nebraska under Frank Solich? Or being a GA at Wisconsin in the 90s?
