Said they had 3 "really physical practices" during the bye, worked on fundamentals and some work on each of the remaining opponents.

Says South Carolina has a lot of athleticism in spite of being 2-5. Impressed with Rattler, said Xavier Legette is a possible first rounder. Notes that TE Trey Knox has 30 catches.

Reminds that Legette is the guy who returned the kickoff last year.

He knows their names, so they've done some work on it.

Notes that USC has lost some close games and A&M needs to play "good SEC football."

Says protection didn't really break down against Tennessee until late, and said all four defensive ends they've faced will be in the NFL. But also said the protection wasn't good enough.

Says the response by the players has been much better to adversity this year.

Says "most guys" are going to be good to go; the "large large large portion" of the guys should be healthy Saturday. Didn't hit on specifics.

Says the team can "still have a heck of a year," and hopefully A&M is "hungrier" than South Carolina.

Edgerrin Cooper's vision improvement has been what has helped him have such a big year. He's seeing things right, being disciplined and taking advantage of the line play.

Says Constantinou has been struggling mechanically.

Says Legette will get a lot of looks. "You have to know where he is," and he won't see much single coverage.

The offensive problems have been lack of execution. I'm sure you'll love that. Says it's "been kind of shocking" at the lack of execution after halftime. He's not saying much about what's changed, but indicates that have adjusted some things during the bye week.

Says "99%" of the offense's problems have been technique. Ouch. "We're not blowing assignments, we're not not knowing what to do. It's just a matter of being able to execute technique-wise."

Says he really hopes Noah Thomas is back to being fully healthy, and that the big three should be full go this weekend.

Admits that they're having trouble getting 1 or 2 yards on 3rd and 1 and 2, and they worked very hard on it during the bye week.
