I’m really sick and tired of hearing about execution. PLAYER execution is what he always talks about. This is not a good practice. If you are an existing player you get blamed for anything bad and anything good. Recruits hear the same thing. This is NOT the NFL! If it truly is about player execution, then I ask why?
1. Why do these college coaches make so much money? Wouldn’t a guy making $1MM be just as good as a guy making $10MM?
2. if it truly is about player execution, why not pay the players big money and the coaches minimal money? Sound familiar? It’s called the NFL!
3. Why don’t all college teams run the same offense? After all, it’s all about player execution any way!
The truth is, coaches are supposed to make a difference in college football. It is as important for coaching staffs to execute probably more than players! Every team has its own weaknesses. Coaches make the difference. Or at least they are supposed to. Especially when they are making $10MM a year! Do YOUR job Jimbo!
