The day we got steam rolled in the 2nd half by them in Ann Arbor in 1977. We were ranked 5th in the country, Michigan 3rd. ABC national audience. I think it was 7 - 3 at halftime and game ended 41 - 3. I think I shook my fist at God a half dozen times during that 2nd half...but have since repented and asked for forgiveness. Still, I vowed to never root for them again...and I haven't for 46 years. I think...no, I KNOW...that streak is about to end next September when the arrogant orange plays in Ann Arbor. Hope the sips go down hard...mainly because of my hate of all things sip...but I can't imagine the lovefest that will play out if tu beats "the defending national champion"....that will be a dark day. I'm removing my hate for Michigan on September 7, 2024. At least for that ONE day.
