My wife and I live in Round Rock and got hammered by hailstorm last week. Several people in neighborhood were already told their cars are totaled. I will drive both of our cars (2021 Ram 1500 diesel truck) and (2019 Nissan Altima) on Friday to a Home Depot where Nationwide will be doing inspections. I’m predicting they will say both are totaled. If they do, I’m hoping someone on here can explain what our options are at that point. Some folks are talking about buying car back and others are saying if they say car is totaled it may no longer be insurable. Any words of wisdom or advice would be appreciated. I’m assuming we’re going to be screwed one way or the other.
