On designated QB run for TD:
I hope to see more of this over the next two weeks. Because a DIG route isn't always just a DIG route!
- QB under center, play action
- Noah in motion
- WR split out.
- Three defenders with the linebacker coming from the middle of the field.
- R Owens goes to the flat forcing the nickle to make a decision with Noah already in the pattern and the WR taking the Corner downfield.
- Linebacker to slow to help, nickle thinks he has safety or corner help deep and steps up to cover Owens.
- Noah wide open.
On designated QB run for TD:
- Max Wright and L Robinson pull.
- For some reason we haven't been running counters / sweeps. I may be wrong about this, but in any case it worked perfectly.
