Congress’ foray into the rapidly changing world of college sportscontinues today with a Sen. TED CRUZ-hosted roundtable centered on name, image and likeness (NIL) rights for student-athletes. Cruz (R-Texas) has a draft bill that he says would “provide legal certainty” and “nationwide legal uniformity,” and he’s invited former Alabama football coach NICK SABAN, Atlantic Coast Conference Commissioner JIM PHILLIPS and several student-athletes to discuss it.
