I had cataract surgery 12 days ago. Started experiences some black outs in my eye yesterday. At the doc now. Pressure is 33 compared to 24 2 days after surgery. I was told the 24 was high so 33 must be off the charts. The blackouts were after bending over or standing up too fast.
Anything I should be sure and ask the doc?
3/19 Update:
Saw my actual surgeon this morning. Goodnews - my carotid artery test came back normal. It appears my vision blackouts were due to the extremely high eye pressure. today my pressure was below 15.
Bad News - the surgeon put in the wrong strength of lens, so now I am going to have to have the old lens replaced. Not too thrilled about having to go through the surgery again. He took full responsiblity, he said all the measurements were accurate but he looked at the wrong numbers when picking the lens. He seemed to indicate it had something to do with my prior lasik.
