I know this is buried in the Track thread but setting an NCAA record is a big deal, Donavan Brazier ran a 1:43.55 800 meters, breaking Jim Ryun's 50 year old record. I watched Randy Matson set a world record in the shot in Kyle Field and I watched Curtis Mills, the Aggie world record holder in the 400 meters, pull a hammy in a relay that cost us the SWC title. You young guys may not have heard of Jim Ryun but he was a stud back in his day, except for the Olympics.
