Here are 4 guys that weren't that weren't 4 or 5 stars and some weren't recruited that hard at all. I'd take any of the 4 again, and I hope we have one or two of these types come Wed.

Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M / High school: Tivy (Kerville) / Class: 2011 / Rivals rating: 3 stars

Manziel only played two years of college football, but he certainly made his mark -- a Heisman Trophy as a redshirt freshman proved that. Manziel has yet to show he will be anything more than a former college star, but those two seasons will be remembered forever. He ignited A&M's offense with 93 total touchdowns and 9,989 yards of offense.

Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M / High school: Westlake (Austin) / Class: 2009 / Rivals rating: 3 stars

When you check the A&M record books for single-season receptions, Swope holds the top three spots. His 252 career catches and 3,117 career receiving yards are both Aggie bests, and his phenomenal junior year - 89 catches for 1,207 yards and 11 TDs - will forever go down as one of the best by a receiver in school history. And while Aggie WRs have put up some bulky numbers under Kevin Sumlin, Swope did (most of) his damage before the Air Raid got to College Station.

Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M / High school: Ball (Galveston) / Class: 2011 / Rivals rating: 3 stars

Evans, known for his acrobatic leaping ability, was a 6-foot-5, 180-pound athlete out of high school who held just three offers: Texas A&M, Colorado State and Tulane. He had only 25 receptions as a senior, but seven of them went for touchdowns, showcasing what the Aggies would expect in later years. He put on 45 pounds at Texas A&M and compiled 151 catches for 2,499 yards and 17 touchdowns in just two seasons - he redshirted his first year on campus. He parlayed his partnership with dynamic quarterback Johnny Manziel into becoming the No. 7 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft and logged 1,051 yards receiving with 12 touchdowns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a rookie.

Damontre Moore, DE/OLB, Texas A&M / High school: Rowlett (Rowlett) / Class: 2010 / Rivals rating: 3 stars

Moore didn't make a name for himself outside College Station until 2012, but that's not to say he was a spectator before then. Playing the "joker" spot in the Aggies' 3-4 scheme, Moore racked up 24 tackles for loss and 14 sacks during his first two years on campus. Then came the absolutely absurd junior campaign, during which he led the Aggies in tackles (85), TFL (21) and sacks (12.5), earning himself a consensus All-America nod. TCU's Jerry Hughes had comparable numbers, but Moore did it against tougher competition. He now plays for the Miami Dolphins after being a third-round draft pick by the Giants.
