I just learned from my 10 yo daughter that there’s something in her classroom called “quiet coyote” to encourage calmness in the classroom. It’s a hand sign that is a perfectly formed tu hook-‘em.
I have zero desire to interfere with my daughter’s teacher’s ability to maintain order in their classroom. But the perfectness of the “quiet coyote” hand sign makes me want to see if this is a common thing and wonder if there’s a sip conspiracy impacting the education of our youth.
