I'm going on a canoeing trip next week for 6 days. I have used one of the small yeti tundra 35s before and it worked well to keep ice and water cold enough to keep fish filets during the trip.
I know the hopper 30 can't keep ice as long as the hard coolers, but was wondering if any of y'all have them and how well do they work? Would it be able to keep cold ice/water for about 4 days or so?
The weight and portability of the hopper would be better for a canoe trip like this. I mainly am using it to keep fish filets cold during the day so we don't have to keep them on a stringer behind the canoe, and keep nightcrawlers alive for bait.
