made the decision with my father to take my mother off ventilator last Wednesday at 9am per her medical directive. Had to sit in this hospital for 7 days waiting for the blessing to come and end her suffering. She finally passed at 6:30 this evening in a very graceful manner. She opened her eyes one last time and saw my father and me at her side and took her last breath.
If you remember my post of my sister being psychotic you can only imagine how this has been over the last week with her. Constantly refusing to admit the inevitable and blaming my father and me for killing her.
It has been such a trying time and trying to be here as support for my father with all this going on was so incredibly difficult. Say a prayer tonight and kiss your loved ones and tell them you love them. I'll always be thankful I got to be here and tell her I loved her.
