Siblings can be a real headache, but one Indiana woman's story takes the cake.

WNBC reports 26-year-old Yamini Karanam was having trouble paying attention and understanding things in everyday life.

She told the station, "Problems with listening comprehension. If people were talking, I wouldn't understand what was happening."

She eventually found Dr. Shahinian in Los Angeles who found what he thought was a tumor in her brain. After performing a unique surgery to remove it, he discovered it was something completely different.

It turned out to be her embryonic twin that never developed -- complete with hair, bones and even teeth. The medical phenomenon is known as a "teratoma." Fortunately, Yamani is expected to make a full recovery.

As surprising as this was, there have been crazier stories.
