We could all use a solid update from @AggieInDC about his hoarder FIL especially with the Holidays right around the corner. Pretty certain the last update we got was over a year and a half ago if not longer. Are you and the wife on better terms with him now? Does the infamous storage unit still exist with his wild possessions?
