I currently have two of my work computers that will no longer do updates. I go to the site, check updates, and it comes back red with errors. The error codes are rarely listed, and when I go to the site, I get no help. Is there a way to wipe out windows update and rebuild it? Is this an indicator of some hardware problem? I hate taking them to Staples or Best Buy because they charge more than the computer is worth. These are basic work stations domained to a server. Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. 4gig RAM. i5 processor. One has a 250g SSD, the other a 500g 7200rpm hd. Any help greatly appreciated.
