I’ve seen many whitetail bucks in velvet over my years of hunting and have also seen the tail end of the process when they have just a small amount of velvet hanging on. I’ve never seen the in between process and didn’t realize it was so messy. I captured this particular 9 point making a temporary mess of my protein feeder.
