Where to donate food?

I live in Austin and have a bunch of food I am trying to donate but the local food kitchens etc seem to only want select items. I guess the homeless are specific about the items they want......

I hate to throw all of it away. Lots of unopened pastas, cooking ingredients, sodas, juices etc. I'm halfway tempted to just drive downtown and leave it next to the shelter.
