Once A&M stopped making The Corps mandatory and began admitting women in significant numbers while simultaneously upgrading faculty the gap between tu and A&M narrowed significantly. Hiring the right coach...Bellard, Jackie, RC, Jimbo...significantly elevated the team and brought the university along with it. We've been basically even with tu since the 1970, 19-23 with a big bunch of those 23 losses coming when we went cheap on the coach. tu is coming into our world now, bring 'em on, we have the players, we have the coaches, and I think we have the support of the University President. I've seen way more tu games in the past than I have in my future but I for one can't wait to get those fuggers on the field. Ever since we left for the SEC I knew in the back of my mind that this day would come, it was inevitable. Talk is cheap, we need to stomp a mud hole in those guys and shut them up for good and we couldn't do it when they weren't here. Well, they're coming, bring it on.
