Today was Michigan's much hyped camp in Dallas. I was told to expect a lot of big names and while few names showed up such as Jean Delance, Eric Cuffee, Jared Mayden, and Jeffery Okudah there was not a lot of great talent there. The one player who really stood out to me was Killeen Shoemaker defensive end Rahssan Thornton. We will have more on Delance, Cuffee, Mayden, and Okudah this week, but Delance told me he might visit A&M this weekend or weekend after and he is still really high on A&M. Delance is up to 283 pounds now and looks like he trimmed some fat. I mentioned that he told me he has a 7 foot wingspan and he is not kidding.
All in all, if the SEC is allowed to do camps like these in the future, this will be a huge hit for A&M. Jim Harbaugh took pictures with everybody and even put on a cowboy hat. A&M could easily make a huge impact with a lot of recruits in areas they decide to do these camps.
