A trio of nationally ranked 2017 prospects recap their visit to A&M:
I spoke with Anthony Hines about his visit to A&M yesterday. He said it was overall a good trip and that it was important for him to have time to speak with Coach Sumlin, Coach Chavis and Coach Hagen. He said he spent about an hour talking with coach Chavis and and also spoke with Coach Sumlin and Coach Hagen as well.
Hines wants to major in finance and said that he had the opportunity to tour Mays Business School.
Hines said "I believe I will make their (A&M) first home game."
As far as future visits Hines said he is going to Baylor's first training camp practice on August 4th.
Hines spoke very highly about his last Baylor trip with Baron Browning.
At the end of June, when Hines was asked to give a few schools that would for sure make his "narrowed list". he told Rivals.com that Oklahoma and Texas A&M were two that would make the cut.
I asked him today if that was still the case; would Oklahoma and Texas A&M still be two schools that make his narrowed list? (a list that Hines wants to have "sometime soon, but not sure.")
"...well, yes. I think so," Hines said.

Wylie (TX) East running back Eno Benjamin returned to College Station this week for his second visit to A&M this off season.
"This visit was a lot better than the first time around," Benjamin said. "We were the only recruits there and we had plenty of time around the coaches. Coach (Clarence) McKinney and Coach (Jake) Spavital showed us around the facilities and took us on a tour of the stadium too.
"The coaches also showed us their new offices, we hung out in the locker room and even played some games in the player's lounge area."
After touring the campus and facilities, Benjamin spent time meeting with both Coach McKinney and Coach Spavital to take a closer look at the A&M offense.
"We watched some film and the coaches showed me how I could fit into what they do on offense at A&M," Benjamin said. "They drew up the depth chart as well. We talked about what they have at running back and the opportunity to make an impact early.
"Coach McKinney wants to have a dominant running back, but also someone who is versatile enough to move out into the slot so they won't have to substitute in the middle of a drive."
The Rivals250 prospect does not hold an offer from the Aggies and the coaches did not extend an offer this time around, but Benjamin believes the coaches will offer this season.
"No, I really didn't bring it up the offer, but I feel that one is coming during the season," Benjamin said. "I think the coaches want to see me progress this season and watch a few of our games. Coach McKinney and I have a good relationship. I call him quite frequently and he has been pretty straight-forward with me."
Benjamin is done with visits for the summer and plans to focus on the upcoming season for now.

Frisco (TX) offensive lineman Jack Anderson joined Benjamin and Hines on the visit to College Station on Monday. The Rivals100 prospect was also joined by his grandfather, an A&M graduate.
"This was my first time to visit Texas A&M with my grandfather," Anderson said. "It was pretty cool to tour the program and campus with him. The coaches showed us around the campus, we got to see the academic side of things, we toured all of the football facilities and even toured the dining areas where the players eat.
"I spent most of the time with Eno (Benjamin) and Ant (Hines) during the tour. The coaches at A&M really showed me a lot of love and made me feel at home."
The group of 2017 standouts had a photo shoot at the A&M football facilities and the coaches took them to the top of the stadium for a unique view of Kyle Field.
Afterwards, Anderson spent some time with new Texas A&M offensive line coach Dave Christensen.
"I spent some time with Coach Christensen and we watched some film," Anderson said. "He wanted to show me the offense on film and I got a better understanding of the system they are running."
Anderson already holds well over 30 FBS offers and hopes to narrow his options to a Top 10 sometime before the season.
"I don't have any leaders or anything at the moment," Anderson said. "My plan is to release a Top 10 before the season and I'm working on that now, but there is a lot of time left and my parents want me to remain patient. After September 1st, all of the college coaches can start reaching out to the 2017 players and that should give me an idea on which schools are most interested."

Rivals250 RB talks A&M visit:
Stratford (TX) running back Rakeem Boyd made an unofficial visit to College Station with his Mom and sister today. Although Boyd is from the nearby Houston area, this was his first time to visit the Texas A&M campus.
"The visit was very good," Boyd said. "It was my first time there and it was pretty fun. I liked the town and enjoyed touring the school. It felt like home, just like here in Stratford."
Boyd had the opportunity to tour the A&M campus and the coaches took him around the football facilities. From there, he met with the Aggie coaches to discuss his recruitment and their level of interest.
"I talked with Coach (Clarence) McKinney and Coach (Jake) Spavital about the running back position at A&M," Boyd said. "I have been talking with Coach McKinney for a while now and he likes my size, the way I move and my versatility.
"The coaches told me more about the running back position and shared a few things with me. They haven't taken a running back commitment in my class yet, but the coaches told me that they plan to take two backs in the 2016 class. There are 2-3 guys in front of me on their board right now, but I just have to wait and see how it goes."
The Rivals250 prospect did feel that the visit and meeting with the coaches went well, even mentioning some 'good news' from his discussion with the A&M coaches.
"I feel an offer is going to come before the season or sometime at the beginning of the season," Boyd said. "The A&M coaches definitely left a good impression today. I cannot say where they stand without the offer, but I'm looking forward to staying in touch with them."
Boyd holds nearly 20 FBS offers and mentioned that a few programs are beginning to standout at the moment.
"Other than A&M, I'm talking with coaches from Michigan, USC, Arizona State, Texas and Houston," Boyd said. "I plan to setup official visits with Michigan and Arizona State this season. The A&M coaches talked with me about coming back for a game, but I'm not sure if I would use an official visit or just drive to the campus for a game.
"I don't really have a plan for my commitment or decision anytime soon, but will make a decision whenever it feels right and whenever I'm comfortable with a school."
