I caught up with 2017 Rivals250 DB Jamyest Williams yesterday after Florida State's camp. The entry in my recruiting notebook is below and the video interview is linked.
Rivals250 defensive back Jamyest Williams has visited most of the schools that have offered him already. The Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer junior said Clemson is his leader because of his relationship with defensive backs coach Mike Reed and head coach Dabo Swinney. Williams enjoyed spending a lot of time with Seminoles defensive coordinator Charles Kelly and said he learned a lot. Florida State is second on His list, but really closed the gap. Texas A&M is third on Williams' list thanks to the efforts of defensive back coach Terry Joseph and defensive coordinator John Chavis. Stanford and Georgia are sticking out to Williams as well. He will make the short trip to Dawg Night this weekend and is hoping to visit Clemson and Florida in the near future.
