Fletch made the comment in another thread that the shooter was still alive, barely. I got to thinking about it and began to ask myself this question:
Would I rather see the medical staff attending to him:
a) put a band aid on it and tell him to take 2 aspirins and let nature take its course,
b) treat the wounds so he can stand trial, face his consequences and get the needle, or,
c) treat the wounds so he can stand trial, face his consequences and receive life in prison w/no chance of parole.
My initial thought is why spend the money to treat, but I also want him to face the consequences. Oh, I am definitely for capital punishment.
