I know this dude was a 5 star and a monster coming out of high school, but what he did tonight was transcendent. He caught 11 passes for 119 yards, but he also had 3 tackles and a pass defended on defense. In addition to that, he had the (it turned out) game-sealing interception of a likely TCU touchdown pass. He displayed the instincts, and the moves, of a CB on that play. It was the best football game anyone has played in years, because the degree of difficulty is off the charts.

I was recently talking to a friend about how sports science advancements are going to revolutionize what we think is normal, and it's cool to see it happening in real time. Steph Curry has to be guarded from 30+ feet, and now other guys do, too (Trey Young, Luka, Dame, etc.). Ohtani is a top 10 hitter and top 30 pitcher. Someone now has the endurance and skills to play both offense and defense in football. It's fitting that he's playing for Coach Prime, who had the skills and endurance to play 2 sports professionally. Prime and Bo were just the beginning.
