Don't know what to think about this team. I'm not sure we would beat Texas Tech, yet I have this feeling we'll knock off Miss St and Bama.

Love Chavis, but have no clue what our defensive game plan was for Arkansas. Whatever it was it didn't work. And we certainly did not stop the run "with numbers."

Fundamentally we are tackling so much better than the last few years, but we can't get a linebacker to meet a rb in the hole to save our life.

Was afraid we were going to be a dink and dunk offense, but instead we have more 30+ yard plays on offense than i can ever remember. Yet we don't score as much as we should cause we can't get ball in end zone.

Offensive line seems not as good as recent years, but we aren't giving up many sacks, and I swear if we had a fast shifty rb he would be running for 100+ a game easy.

Can't stand Spavs play calling, but must admit he smartly got Kirk lots of touches, had a nice package designed for Kyler. The screen to Carson was over-used but damn if it wasn't open every time and executed better than I have ever seen us execute screen plays (save carson's inability to use his blocking). Hated it when we split Carson out as a wr, but it actually caught Arkie off-guard and created the mismatch we wanted.

RSJ - total enigma. Seems we have no clue how to use his unique size and ability.

Could go on and on. So much is right with this team. So many playmakers. Yet still not all clicking. Can't stop the run. Can't score in red zone enough. Too many 3 and outs on offense and not enough on defense.

Overall this team seems so much better than last year's team, yet seems on the exact same trajectory. Which way will they go?
