Tony Levine was Sumlin's successor at UH. He was let go after 3 seasons (which is another thread all together.)
He mentions that he took a year off afterward and went around the NCAA and NFL visiting with different teams and observing practices, etc.
One was A&M. One was Tech. Those are obvious. He also mentions Clemson and SMU.
The interesting thing from the article outside of that was his mention of Meacham coming to UH and how he asked about 10 coaches for advice on who to hire and it included Holgorsen, Kingsbury, and Todd Monken.
What I think will happen is that Sumlin will hire someone he either has worked with or someone who is high up on the staff of someone he has worked with. The Air Raid guys are all pretty close. There won't likely be anything out of the blue like Chavis was. That was a perfect storm of bayou discontent and fortunate timing on our part.

Also...And I don't mean to mess with anyone....This guy could end up being part of the staff if a major overhaul happens. Not OC but he has coached WR, ST, LBs, TEs, S&C. It wouldn't surprise me if we see a house cleaning on the offensive side of the ball and this guy pops up with Meacham
By the way - look who wrote the article. Feldman.
