This is not to rub anything in the faces of those that wanted Chad or Patterson or anyone else besides Jimbo...but think about it...could anyone else have assembled a better staff of elite recruiters than what Jimbo has at A&M?
Jimbo gets it...he knows it all starts with recruiting if one wants to win championships. He and his staff at FSU were already elite recruiters before coming to A&M...but his level of recruiting went to a whole new level the minute they were hired in Aggieland. Facilities, money, support, the most fertile recruiting hotbed in the country, etc, etc.
When Jimbo took over, our 2018 class was in a downward spiral...thus you saw some decommits and some others dropping us from their top rankings. The BAS bunch took the boards and moaned, groaned and blasted this staff early one. However, Jimbo being Jimbo...Brewster being Brewster...and Craig being Craig...they went to work 24/7 and haven't stopped. Now they are showing they're not only going to resurrect this 2018 class but also created a HUGE wave of momentum for the 2019 class...and to think...it's just getting started.
Jimbo was the best man for the job...plain and simple Buckle up because it's going to be a fun fun ride!
